About Us | Who We Are

The Outdoors for All Foundation began in 1978 when fifteen children with disabilities came together to learn downhill skiing at The Summit at Snoqualmie. After a successful first season, the program was incorporated the following year as a nonprofit organization, originally known as the Ski for All Foundation.

Rooted in that history, Outdoors for All is well known for adaptive winter programs such as skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Over time, we’ve expanded far beyond the snow providing opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy cycling, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, water skiing, camping, day camps, group programs, and more.

Each year, more than 2,500 children and adults with disabilities discover the joy and freedom of outdoor recreation with the support of over 850 dedicated volunteers. Together, we are building a community where people of all abilities, can experience the outdoors.
