Fundraising Events

Fundraising volunteers support Outdoors for All by helping raise awareness and resources that make our programs possible. There are no fundraising event opportunities available at this time—please check back for future opportunities or explore other ways to get involved.

Outreach Events

Outreach Volunteers play an important role in strengthening community connections, supporting volunteer recruitment, and helping more people learn about adaptive outdoor recreation by attending local industry tabling events alongside Outdoors for All staff members.

Women's Outdoor Connection | October 24

Community Outreach Volunteers represent Outdoors for All at the Women's Outdoor Connection Annual Gathering, helping introduce attendees to adaptive recreation opportunities, volunteer pathways, and our mission of making outdoor recreation accessible to all. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy meaningful conversations, building community connections, and sharing their passion for the outdoors.

Volunteers will work alongside an Outdoors for All staff member to engage attendees, answer questions, share program information, and help expand awareness of adaptive recreation throughout the outdoor community.

Event Name: Women's Outdoor Connection Annual Gathering

Date: Saturday, October 24

Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: REI Seattle Flagship store

Age Requirement: 21+

Responsibilities:

Attend outreach and tabling events across King/Pierce County
Assist Outdoors for All staff member in setting up table and promotional materials
Represent Outdoors for All in a warm, positive, and welcoming manner
Build rapport with partners, event hosts, and community members
Engage with event attendees and answer questions about:
- Outdoors for All programs
- Volunteer opportunities
- Our mission and overall impact

Requirements:

Comfortable engaging with the public; outgoing and approachable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Outdoors for All’s mission and programs
Professional, friendly demeanor
Reliable personal transportation to and from event location
Ability to carry lightweight outreach materials (e.g., tablecloth, flyers)

Training:

All outreach events are attended with an Outdoors for All staff member
Ongoing support available from the Volunteer Coordinator at Outdoors for All

Saturday, November 14 | 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Volunteer Note: Volunteers may sign up for one or both dates. Specific shifts and time commitments for each day will be selected during registration.
