There are several ways to get involved and help advance Outdoors for All’s mission through community engagement and outreach. See the volunteer roles below to learn more.

Fundraising Events
Springfest is a mountain celebration hosted by Stevens Pass Ski Resort on the final day of the season. Come celebrate with a pond skim, food, music, and other festivities!
Date: Sunday, April 12
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Granite Peaks Lodge at Stevens Pass
Volunteer Role & Time:
Duck Seller (8:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
Volunteers will be selling plastic ducks for the Chuck‑A‑Duck competition. Patrons throw ducks into the pond, and those closest to the target win prizes. Volunteers will sell ducks using Square readers. Volunteers will receive a lift ticket to enjoy after the completion of their shift.
The Big Taste is a wine, beer, cider, and distilled spirits tasting event hosted by the University Sunrise Rotary Club.
Date: Sunday, April 12
Location: Block 41 Event Space, Seattle
Volunteer Roles & Times:
- Set Up (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Outdoors for All Info Tent (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
- Clean Up (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
Outreach Events
Outreach Volunteers play an important role in strengthening community connections, supporting volunteer recruitment, and helping more people learn about inclusive outdoor recreation.There are no outreach event opportunities available at this time—please check back for future opportunities, or explore other ways to get involved.
Flyer Distribution
Flyer Distribution Volunteers help expand Outdoors for All’s community presence by distributing promotional materials in their local neighborhoods. Volunteers will receive an email notification to stop by the Outdoors for All Headquarters to pick up marketing materials, then post flyers at locations of their choosing; workplaces, coffee shops, bulletin boards, gyms, recreation centers, schools, and other public‑facing locations.
Dates: Flexible. Volunteers will receive a notification for new flyers via email, along with a suggested posting window (e.g., “Please post between November 1–December 1”). Posting windows generally span about four weeks.
Time: Flexible / On your own schedule
Location: Community locations of your choosing. King/Pierce county only.
Age Requirement: 18+
Responsibilities:
- Pick up flyers from the Outdoors for All Headquarters
- Post flyers in community locations you frequent (coffee shops, gyms, workplaces, bulletin boards, etc.)
- Please Note: Always check with the location’s staff before posting. Some places do not allow public flyers.
- Have a brief, informal conversation afterward with the Volunteer Coordinator about where you posted flyers
- Represent Outdoors for All positively when interacting with community members
