As some of you may know, our Adaptive Cycling Center (ACC) provides free adaptive cycle rentals for people of all abilities thanks to our partnership with SDOT. We are so happy to have this program back after a brief hold last year due to Covid. The ACC is back and booming since our reopening May 1st.

We are thrilled to be featured on the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) blogpost this past month highlighting the Lawson family and their experience.. “The program opens up a whole world for Milo to explore that he wouldn’t have access to otherwise, and we can do it together and enjoy the shared experience as a family. It gets us outdoors and gives Milo a way to discover the park and get some exercise. We rent bikes all the time, even more so now that it’s free! For anyone thinking about trying it, I’d say 100% go check it out and give it a whirl. It’s fun for adults and special needs children. Milo loves to have the wind in his face and his smile is universal.” -Kim and Erik Lawson, Milo’s parents
