Outdoors for All volunteers are simply put, AWESOME! Our mission wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of hundreds upon hundreds of these volunteers who give of their time and talents – and do it with a smile!
Here’s an amazing email that we received from parents of a child enrolled in one of our adaptive snowsports program days at Stevens Pass. In it, Dave and Terry Potter rave about our volunteers, another husband and wife, Mike and Bobbi Meins. Mike and Bobbi have been lead volunteers for a number of years in our program at Stevens Pass. I think that you’ll agree, this email that Bobbi had forwarded to me testifies to the power of the OUTCOMES that result from Outdoors for All’s mission in action. AWESOME indeed!
Dear Bobbi and Mike,
We all want to thank you for Kaylie’s second great year skiing with you!! She has improved SO much, and is truly loving the sport. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate all the work the volunteers put into this, and how kind and patient they are. She tells me over and over how much she loves her instructors, and how they “make me feel like a real person”. It brings tears to my eyes to see how proud she is of what she can do now. We are thinking of taking a real ski vacation over spring break ~ and Kaylie will now be able to participate fully with the other 4 of us. You gents and ladies are the best!! We will definitely see you next year,
