Day Camp Volunteers
Outdoors for All Day Camps offer engaging outdoor recreation experiences for youth and adults with disabilities. Volunteers help support staff, assist with group management, and create a safe, fun, and active environment for campers. Activities may include cycling, hiking, visits to local parks, zoo trips, rock climbing, and more.
Spring Break Camps:
Dates: Monday, April 13 – Friday, April 17
Location: Outdoors for All Magnuson Park
Volunteer Age Requirements:
- Age 16+ for Youth Camps
- Age 18+ for Adult Camps

Summer Camps:
Volunteer opportunities and applications for summer camps will be published in April. Read the Summer Day Camp Volunteer Role Description.
Dates:
June 22 – August 28 (Monday – Friday)
Volunteers are strongly encouraged to commit to a full week of camp.
Locations:
Outdoors for All Magnuson Park (Northeast Seattle)
Outdoors for All Lake Sammamish State Park (Issaquah)
Outdoors for All PenMet Park (Gig Harbor)
Volunteer Age Requirements:
- Age 18+ for Adult Camps
- Age 16+ for Youth Camps
- Volunteers ages 16–17 must be approved through our online application and phone screening before volunteering at youth camps. Applications open in April.
Spring Break Day Camp
Our spring break day camp focuses on building social skills while enjoying time outdoors. Activities may include indoor swimming, biking, museum visits, and other engaging adventures. Volunteers will help facilitate activities, support group management, and participate alongside campers throughout the day.
Dates: 4/13, 4/14, 4/15, 4/16, 4/17
Time: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Location: Outdoors for All Magnuson Park
Requirements:
- Age 18+
- Completion of all required trainings

- New Volunteer Orientation – first-time volunteers
- Participant Protection Policies – required annually
- Disability Awareness – required once
Support our rock-climbing program during spring break! Volunteers will belay participants, side climb, and help create a safe and supportive climbing environment.
Dates: 4/13, 4/16
Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Location: Seattle Mountaineers
Requirements:
- Age 18+
- Completion of all required trainings
- Previous rock climbing and belay experience required
- Must be belay certified (bring belay certification card from any gym, or we will complete a knowledge check)
- Bring your own harness and climbing shoes if available (notify staff in advance if you need to borrow equipment)
