Website Accessibility Statement

Outdoors for All is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to make our website an inclusive space where everyone can engage, get informed, and participate.

We are dedicated to ongoing improvement of digital accessibility on our site. Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, aligning with best practices under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and U.S. Section 508 standards.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, we have:

  • Built accessibility into our mission, policies, and procurement practices
  • Completed staff training sessions on accessibility principles and tools
  • Assigned clear responsibility for accessibility oversight across our team
  • Integrated accessibility quality assurance into our development and review cycle

Current Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. While most of our site meets this standard, a few areas—such as PDFs, interactive elements, or legacy content—may not yet fully comply. These are actively being addressed.

Known Limitations

Some parts of our site may have accessibility gaps:

  • Older or third‑party resources (e.g. PDFs or plugins) may lack full compatibility
  • Certain images may be missing alt text or captions, though we are working to update them
  • Interactive features may not yet support full keyboard or screen reader use

We are committed to resolving these issues in future updates.

Browser & Assistive Tech Compatibility

Our site is designed to work across common web browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • Modern versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
  • Screen readers such as NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (Mac/iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
