Over the past two weekends, our community came together for winter volunteer training, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who joined us. While the snow has been stubborn to fall, it certainly didn’t stop us from getting ready for our winter programs. With a smile on everyone’s face, some creativity and flexibility, our volunteers adapted seamlessly to our change of plans. We also felt a new appreciation for our new headquarters, which provided to be the perfect place to learn, connect, and prepare for the season ahead.

With more than 350 volunteers over two weekends, we worked on updating techniques, building new skills through hands-on learning, and reconnecting with fellow volunteers. The energy throughout the weekends was contagious, from meaningful conversations and shared laughs to the collective excitement of gearing up for winter programs.

We are incredibly thankful for the time, enthusiasm, and dedication our volunteers bring to this community. Spending their weekends training and preparing makes a real impact, and it sets the tone for an amazing season ahead. We can’t wait to get back out on the mountain together soon, hopefully with a lot more snow, and continue creating memorable, inclusive outdoor experiences.

Thank you to our volunteers for being such an essential part of Outdoors for All!
