Last week was full of amazing memories at our summer day camp! Campers were treated to a special surprise visit from none other than Ranger Dan and the amazing team from Seattle Parks and Rec. They were able to share the exciting and important work that Park Rangers do every day to protect our city’s parks—and to inspire the next generation of park stewards!
Campers got hands-on with the tools of the trade, learned how they can help keep parks safe and clean, and even peeked inside the official Parks truck. A highlight? A live PA announcement from inside the vehicle that had everyone smiling!
The learning didn’t stop there—every camper walked away with a Junior Ranger Badge, proud of their new knowledge and ready to do their part.
One camper summed it up perfectly: “I love this camp!”
Big thanks to Seattle Parks and Recreation for making the day so special—and to Ranger Dan for leading the way. Nature, fun, and a little siren action? That’s what we call a great day at camp!
