Outdoors for All programs would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers! With over 800 volunteers each year, it’s hard to pick out just one, but here is our new Volunteer Spotlight!

McKenzie (pictured left) volunteered for our summer outdoor rock climbing series and kayaking series. In both programs she was personable and supportive and helped participants reach new heights (literally!).

“McKenzie was invaluable this summer as a veteran volunteer in every one of our kayaking and rock climbing series. She worked with a range of participants in rock climbing, including belaying participants with autism to being up on the wall helping place the feet of a participant with cerebral palsy. In our Kayaking program, McKenzie took on the role of Lead Volunteer, helping to sign people in each week and acting as a safety boat out on the water. McKenzie was reliable week-in and week-out and deserves a spotlight. Thank for all your hard work!”
