Outdoors for All programs would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers! With over 700 volunteers each year, it’s hard to pick out just one, but here is our new Volunteer Spotlight!
Larry Adair (pictured with Learn to Ride student, Chris) has been volunteering with Outdoors for All for over three years, mostly in our Learn to Ride a Bike series and our Nordic programs. Thank you Larry for helping to make amazing moments possible!
“It was great seeing Larry and Chris work together during our third Learn to Ride Series. Chris was pretty apprehensive when he first got on the Strider bike but Larry’s patient and thoughtful approach with Chris eased fears and they were able to accomplish a lot though the lessons.
We are excited to continue working with Larry!!”
-Alicia Lyons, Outdoors for All Program Manager
“Larry was a pleasure to work with in our Learn to Ride a bike programs! He is very kind, thoughtful and patient and was successful in helping one of our participants move from a Strider to a pedal bike. I’m excited to work with him again next week.”
-Taylor Mosley, Outdoors for All Program Coordinator
“Just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts with this program. Chris really enjoyed it and his coach, Larry, was also so patient. He made great strides in his confidence and balance.”
-Ginny, Mother of Outdoors for All participant, Chris
