Tim Nagel
Volunteer Coordinator

Tim has a passion for providing people with disabilities the opportunity to experience outdoor recreation and sport. He has a physical disability called Spina Bifida, which has enabled him to experience so many amazing opportunities. He grew up playing wheelchair basketball in Dallas, Texas and continued his educational and athletic career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. There, he received a B.S. and M.S. in Sport Management while also transitioning as an Assistant Coach for the D1 wheelchair basketball team where he played. After college, Tim pursued a career in adaptive recreation to help transform the lives of other youth and adults with disabilities like himself. He has been professionally involved with adaptive recreation for several years now. Most recently he has fallen in love with activities such as skiing, mountain biking, cycling, and kayaking. He is stoked to live in the PNW and to make an impact in its community.
