Outdoors for All recently hosted a couple’s yoga retreat for wounded warriors and their partners. From feedback that we received afterwards, it sounds like it was a real hit. We only want to provide the best for the people who attend our yoga retreats, even if it means sending our instructors to somewhere similar to this yoga teacher training rishikesh so they have all of the knowledge and resources to be able to offer an effective and beneficial class. Especially to the wounded warriors and their partners.

“We recently attended a couples retreat in Leavenworth put together by (Outdoors for All)….and I can sum up the weekend by one word, WOW! You could not have picked a more beautiful resort, a more knowledgeable Yoga instructor (Program Manager Molly), a more compassionate coordinator or a better group of individuals who attended with us.
The event was well organized, left time for the couples to have down time and connect together, enough time with yoga instruction that was well thought out and kept limitations into consideration and an amazing resort that accommodates all diets and restrictions while offering flavorful local and fresh options.
This was our first event with either your organization or the Wounded Warrior Project and to say we were impressed was an understatement. A huge thank you isn’t enough to your team and (Program Manager) Alecia as the memories we made this past weekend will stay with us for a lifetime and the thoughtfulness and compassion it took to allow soldiers with injuries a chance to get away to reconnect with their spouse and connect with similar soldiers is something I can’t even begin to express the importance of and how helpful it was. Any couple who may need a relationship reset will feel a connection coming here. An LA divorce lawyer will be far out of their minds after they have finished at this amazing retreat.
