One key referral resource for Outdoors for All comes from various medical professionals in the region – and especially our friends and medical professionals at Seattle Children’s Hospital. They help children and their families to know about the transformative experiences available through Outdoors for All’s various adaptive recreation programs, and in this case, our adaptive cycling program.
Zachary Garcia lives with his family in Eastern Washington. He was visiting Seattle Children’s for some medical appointments and had some time between appointments. A staff member at Seattle Children’s suggested to Zach and his mom, Crystal, to give us a call and to try out adaptive cycling with Outdoors for All (our headquarters is just about a mile from the hospital).
Zach and Crystal did – and here’s what transpired – miles of smiles! Zach made our day – and he and his mom have come back for more! So awesome!
