Right now, like everyone, we are left reeling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to respond to the public health crisis, we have cancelled all spring programs and are currently not planning any programs for the summer. This means we have had to institute furloughs or salary cuts for each of our staff members in order to cut expenses. These were not easy decisions to make but these unprecedented times have required extreme action.
We are processing refunds for participants who have already registered and paid for any of our summer activities. Should the health of our region improve during the summer months, we will explore ways to offer programming that supports the safety of our community and participants. For now, we encourage you to get outside and stay active in a responsible manner.
What we provide is community. Now more than ever, we recognize the importance of community, of kinship, and of lifting one another up. We are seeking out all sources of assistance during this time, and one of those sources includes asking our community of steadfast supporters, both past and present, for help. If you are able, please donate to our mission support fund today.
One day, this pandemic will end and life will return to some semblance of normalcy. And when it does, Outdoors for All will be there for you on the cycling paths, ski runs, hiking trails, and waterways of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
We will be sure to keep you informed on any updates that develop but in the meantime please connect with us as you can on our social media channels.
If you have questions about your program registrations please contact us at Programs@outdoorsforall.org.
