Outdoors for All programs would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers! With over 800 volunteers each year, it’s hard to pick out just one, but here is our new Volunteer Spotlight!
Walter Voll (pictured left) is spotlighted from our Stevens Sunday Program. Thank you Walter for your amazing impact!!
“Walter has been with Outdoors for All for a number of years. First starting as a participant and now as a dedicated volunteer for Outdoors for All. He has donated his own gear, an HOC bi-ski, when he moved to a mono-ski. He is our only sit-ski instructor that teaches from a mono-ski providing valuable insight to both mono-skiers and bi-skiers in Outdoors for All programs. Our sit ski program would not be possible without his dedication and commitment to our programs and participants. Rachel has exceeded all expectation made for volunteers. Her dedication for four full years of Winter Program Volunteering is unmatched by any other teenager. Rachel has logged nearly 270 total volunteer hours with Outdoors for All in a four-year time frame. Rachel is a senior this year and still plans to volunteer with Outdoors for All while pursuing her college degree. Rachel is very deserving of recognition for her hard work and dedication as a sit-ski snowboard instructor!”
