It is the aim of Outdoors for All to “Transform lives through outdoor recreation”. Many of these transformations come in the form of friendships, confidence, new experiences and independence. At Outdoors for All, we hope that many participants can learn in our programs and take those skills outside of their Outdoors for All participation.

Nate, a young participant in our Summit West alpine program, gained some independence and was able to ski without his tethers for the first time! With less need of equipment, he and his family can enjoy more of the ski experience together!

“I would like to say thank you so much to you, Kyle and all the volunteers from Outdoors for All. This ski session could have been miserable for everyone, but instead was amazing! Nate improved so much that after the lesson on Sunday we skied as a family for another two hours! We have finally found a sport the whole family enjoys and everyone feels comfortable/confident to do. Nate skied SOLO for those two hours. No tether! Just the edgie wedgie and no falling! His confidence is thru the roof! We are so thankful for this experience and can’t for next season!“
