GOOD TIMES with BIKES & SUN
Weather cooperated to make August 17th the date of another successful Custom Event at Outdoors for All. Equipped with a trailer full of adaptive cycles, Outdoors for All’s Training Director, John Stevenson, headed off to Cedar River Trail Park for a “gig” with Puget Sound Residential Services. After having worked with the folks of Puget Sound on a number of prior occasions, Stevenson says: “I’ve gotten to know many of these individuals over the years and it is great to see them out and active. Every year there’s also a handful of new participants. Getting people set up and moving on a cycle for the first time and sharing in the joy they experience is a big part of why I do what I do.”
Mutual feelings were expressed from Puget Sound Residential Services Director of Client Services, Paul Anliker, who contacted Outdoors for All to express his satisfaction with the partnership. “I am sending my annual appreciation of your dedication to Outdoors for All and all the clients that are involved with your agency. You continue to show your caring nature and talent for working with people, and surpass the expectation set in your mission statement. As always, it¹s a pleasure to have you support us at our picnic. Hope you had a good time and had a chance to get something to eat. Oh, I almost forgot, we had a couple new people ride this year, which was their first time. Another set of successes!”
