PROGRAMS

Outdoor recreation in the Northwest is for everyone! Outdoors for All offers a variety of recreational activities for children and adults with disabilities.

Activities are designed to include people with disabilities in typical Pacific Northwest outdoor activities and to promote education, independence, socialization, exposure to adaptive equipment and techniques, and, of course - to have lots of fun! We also encourage families to participate as well.

PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES:

There are many ways to get involved and participate in our programs. Join us as an individual in one of our seasonal activities we schedule (see Activity Guide). Get a group together and schedule a Custom Event. Rent some of our equipment to take out on your own. Come in for a recreation assessment or private recreation lesson. Sign up for one of our Day Camps.

Contact us to find out what would be best for you!

PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES WE OFFER:

Skiing, hiking, kayaking, cycling, snowshoeing, snowboarding, rock climbing, river rafting, cross-country skiing, water skiing, canoeing, Day Camps, Custom Events, FREE Demo Days, Paralympics Training Program, SKIHAWKS Racing Team, private recreation lessons, assessments and rental equipment.

RECREATIONAL GROUP GUIDE:

In an effort to better meet the unique needs of the large variety of individuals with disability we work with, Outdoors for All has developed five recreational groups and guides to illustrate difficulty levels and accessibility. We hope participants, parents and caregivers will find this new system helpful in identifying programs which are most appropriate for their skills and abilities and will result in the best success in meeting their recreational goals.

Each brochure has the recreational guide inside and you can also access it through the link listed to the right.

REASONS TO GET INVOLVED:

  • Develop new friendships
  • Improve physical fitness
  • Increase self-confidence
  • Exposure to new adaptive equipment

For more information on any of the above activities click the links to the right to find out more about specific activities and programs.
